Honestly, there's not much to do in Coron city other that take a boat to explore other islands around (one or two of the island hopping tours), or to go diving to amazing sites nearby. We still had some time left after doing our PADI diving licences and island tour, so took a good old motorbike and drove around a little. Here's our little day trip in photos.
Our first stop was this Puerto Del Sol Resort & Dive Center what I just randomly picked out when going through Google Maps. It's a very nice resort on top of a cliff, and after visiting the restaurant we could walk around and dream which little bungalow/house we would like to stay if we were rich...
Had our most expensive fries and three shrimps there but at least the taste was really good!
There's also a nice little pool you can chill if you order something from the restaurant ;)
After that we headed towards little waterfall called Concepcion Falls. We were there during dry season, so it was small but cute. Locals went there to cool off but otherwise it was empty and I personally liked the mystical forest vibe. It's not impressive but good place to dip in if you like :)
After that we headed further and was looking for some lunch. Be aware that there's basically nothing to choose from when you drive around Coron, no restaurants or food stalls. We were headed to Alam Indah Beach and hoping for the best.
This is a private beach, owned by one (seemed to be Italian) guy who has a guesthouse there. They ask for a fee for entering the beach, or you eat their set lunch. Which on that day was pasta and cake. We took the lunch, it was pricey in our opinion but since we were there already, no other place to go and the beach was excellent we found it to be reasonable.
So after the food we went to snorkel, looked around on ht ebeach strip cause it's pretty amazing, all the greenery and nature. Loved it soo much.
Then we headed back to Coron, we even hitted up to the warm thermal pools for the evening and it was perfect. I would recommend going for a motorbike tour while your'e there and have time. At least it's more fun than hanging in the city!
